Christian had his fourth birthday party on Saturday. It was Nemo themed… Carson had a great time.

Weekend Visitors
Jenni’s parents spent the weekend with us… we had a great time.
Saturday was swimming class where Carson got to show off all he has learned so far. Then we had Red Lobster for lunch and my parents joined us for a great meal. Later we all just relaxed while some snow fell and watched movies.
Sunday we went to the Children’s Museum… which is where I finally got my camera out.

Snow Day… part 2
So we’re having our second snow day in a row… The Indy Airport says they have received 9″ of snow. I think we’ve gotten a little more than that where we live. Hendricks county (where we live) is under a snow emergency, which means it’s “illegal” to be out on the road (unless of course it’s an emergency). IUPUI has canceled classes for the second straight day and Jenni’s work canceled their clinic for a second day.
We’ve tried to snowblow/shovel but it’s rough… there are layers of snow and layers of ice together. The snowblower isn’t doing well either… heh. We did make some time to play in the snow with Carson. I’ll be putting some pictures up shortly.

Sunday fun!
Had our swimming class on Saturday and it was good fun, while Carson and I were there Jenni painted in our room a bit… I’ll get a picture of that and put it up this week sometime. Finished off the day with dinner at Olive Garden, Carson was excited to see Nanny and Poppy… mmmm, breadsticks.
Sunday came and we decided to go hang out at the Children’s Museum for a bit before doing our taxes.. heh. Carson had a blast, just like he always does. The traveling exhibit this month is Clifford… Carson gave that big ole dog a hug.

He also had a lot of fun with the diner they have set up, he was slingin’ lobsters and bananas… mmhmmmmm!

Now you get the title, hah. It still needs some accessories for the walls but I think it is a really neat color and we had a lot of fun putting it up. I wish I had a more wide-angle lens on my camera because depending on the angle it looks brighter/darker in the photos. The actual color is somewhere in between. heh

Carson, my dad, and I went to a Harlem Globetrotters game today.. Carson had an absolute blast and it was a really great show.

Monday already?
It’s rough having a short weekend after having a nice long one… I might have to start a campaign at some point to get my 4 day work week idea off the ground. heh
COLTS WIN! It was an amazing effort by the defense to hold Larry Johnson to less than 40 yards.
Cowboys lose due to butter fingers, Patriots stun Jets, and the Eagles kick a last minute field goal to win their game. Good start the playoffs.
Put most of the Videos I have taken up on PicasaWeb… I’ve tried to put them in chronological order top to bottom, but I may have misplaced a few of them. Let me know if you spot one out of place. I’m going to move the Christmas videos into that album as well.

Had some catching up to do with the house and work… so now that I’m pretty close to being caught up I figured I better put an update here.
While in Nebraska we went to Heather’s 30th birthday party, it was really fun seeing our friends and hanging out again!

New Year’s Eve was quiet for us, as more than half of the house was some kind of sick. We just stayed in and watched movies (and football). Which turned out ok given the 4+ inches of snow that got dumped, making going out less appealing anyway. Carson and I made time for a snow fight (since we haven’t really had any accumulated snowfall in Indiana).

New Years Day was a great time for Carson to visit with all his friends in Nebraska. He really missed Jimmy and Bre and Logan (and baby Kilee too!).
