Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

Go find a and have some green beer with him and his pot of gold (maybe you can get him to buy… I mean, he does have a pot of gold).

Speaking of Green Beer….
How could I have a blog entry about it without a link on How To make it.

Or a link and some snippet from WikiPedia:

Saint Patrick’s Day (Irish: Lá ’le Pádraig or Lá Fhéile Pádraig), colloquially St. Paddy’s Day or Paddy’s Day, is an annual feast day which celebrates Saint Patrick (circa 385–461), one of the patron saints of Ireland.

Saturday we took Carson to his swimming class and I brought the camera along:

And then Sunday we all visited the Easter Bunny!
Not doing this one in a slide show, you gotta click it to see it…

Easter Bunny

Busy time

Been so busy didn’t realize I hadn’t updated this place in quite some time… here’s a couple of albums to chew on. There’s a couple of private albums with some of Carson’s classmates in it, you’ll need to mail me directly for a link to those (in case I haven’t sent you a link yet.)

Couple of photo albums…

I have a few albums to catch everyone up on so here they are…

Carson and I made a fort out of the dining room table chairs and a couple of bed sheets and blankets.

Carson daycare class had their annual photos done, they look really great.

Sam turned one month last week and the boys had some fun playing with Elmo…

From the desk of Dilbert…

This was a hilarious Dilbert strip from last week that I wanted to put up for Friday Funnies, but I just didn’t get the chance too… so here it is today instead. Please click the image to take you to the Dilbert site so that Scott Adams gets the web traffic he so richly deserves for being the creator of one of the greatest comic strips ever.

From the Haffey’s Links department:

We’ll close with an awesome Will It Blend? episode.. featuring the one and only Chuck Norris.

Number one hundred forty…

Greetings… with training last week and the arrival of our baby quickly approaching I haven’t had a ton of blog time. So let me take advantage of this five minute lull to dump some stuff out here.

LIFE CHANGING TIPS AND TRICKS!!!!
Hey, I know it’s been awhile but never fear I have a good one today… especially for you home owners out there. How to burglarproof your doors. I know I am going to be doing a couple of the suggested things in there, I had been thinking of a moat and drawbridge but maybe just some improvements to the doors would be a cheaper route.

Finally we close with a story about health… Eye doctors warn that prolonged computer use can have ill effects, SO STOP READING THIS BEFORE YOU GO BLIND!

Labor Day Vist to Negley

We packed up the van with our little family and grabbed my mom as well to travel out to visit Jenni’s relatives in Negley, OH. We had a very relaxing weekend, we couldn’t even get cellular signals, let alone internet. I didn’t even take that many photos, all on the last day… here they are anyway. 🙂

NON-PICTURE CONTENT!

LOL.. I’ve been doing so much catching with photos, I thought it would be a nice diversion to catch up on the 5 billion links I’ve collected over the past three weeks.

Let’s start off with some funny pictures that other people have taken:

How about some news of the cool/weird:

How about some cool/fun flash goodies?

Tech News tidbits:

Let’s wrap it all up with a creepy/funny video:

Branson photos, day 7 & 8

Last two days in Branson! We went to the Titanic Museum, which was awesome… they don’t allow photography inside but I snapped a couple outside that are pretty good. Later that day we went back to Celebration City and rode some more rides. I took two pics of the welcome center for the resort as well so that I could remember what it was called.

I guess I’ll have to start doing real blog posts again… heh.

Branson photos, day 6

On our 6th day in Branson we took a Scenic Train Ride… it was a two hour trip complete with snack/drink service. The kids had a great time and the dome cars were really cool to ride in. That night we went to Celebration City… Carson got to ride a whole lot more rides than our last trip to an amusement park. He’s now right at 42 inches tall. On with the show…

Last set of photos to be uploaded and showcased tomorrow!

Branson photos, day 5

So day 5 rolls around… we took it easy in the morning, the boys wanted to play on the park near our condo but that didn’t last long given the crazy heat. In the afternoon we went to a Broadway tribute show they did a ton of show tunes with matching sets, it was pretty good. On our way to dinner at Dick Clark’s 57 Heaven Diner we stopped at the Stone Hill Winery for a tour, some samples, and a few supplies.

Stay tuned for Day 6.
